This is an effort to create a place for all director needs including Tutorials, samples, Forums etc. Please let me know what do you think about this. Also, I would love to showcase your content here. Let me know…

Sounds good to me! Good luck with the site and keep up the good work!

This site is great. It is so nice to see something from you guys. It really sends the message that Director is here to stay and that you guys really care about it. The information here is really usefull as well. Keep up the great work!

Great to see a site dedicated to Director Developers from Adobe! I will be sure to add it to my web site and to the Digital Media courses I teach at Drexel University. Please keep the good stuff coming.

It’s a great initiative and I’m looking forward to more involvement between the community and the Director engineering team.
However, I think you need to be careful with your tutorials and the code included. If you want this to be a useful learning resource for the community you need to add lots of comments so that beginners can understand what’s happening where and why. You should also consider having someone vet your files before posting them to avoid simple mistakes. While a file might run properly, things like adding a ‘me’ parameter to #movie handlers (like #startMovie) can be a source of confusion for new users.
In short - keep it coming. But keep an eye on quality, too.
